Highlighting the writings of Austin Bears
Check in often to find writing of excellence from students of Austin Middle School, Amarillo, TX. Published writings are selected by 6th, 7th, and 8th grade English language arts teachers as some of the "best in class" writings from the genres of poetry, prose (fiction), and non-fiction.
8th grade students - under the direction of one of Austin's 8th grade teachers - work to post the writings and add images that enhance the meaning of the works.
Four times a year, the Austin Ink Club selects the most outstanding entries to be recognized on the Austin Wall of Fame - both in the school and online.
